https://english.kyodonews.net/news/2019/05/cd2e013a9973-urgent-11-including-elementary-school-children-stabbed-in-city-near-tokyo.html one child and one adult may be dead
Holy shit, that's awful! Was the assailant arrested?
The police found two knives at the scene and are trying to identify the suspect. Officials at the Catholic school have yet to confirm whether the victims are attending their school, saying they are still gathering information. The article isn't even that long...
Some sources say that a suspect has been detained but is unconscious because he has stabbed himself. Such a tragedy...
Hope the kids and adults will be alright. I can't imagine being stabbed can be better than shot. Sadly we won't know this dude's intention unless they raided his home for causation. Wonder if he's an underpaid worker or just stressed.
If he had lived they would have hung him for this.
Japan has the death penalty, and this would have gotten him it.
1 child is dead, injury count is up to 15 kids and 2 adults The girl was pronounced dead at a hospital. One of the adult victims, a man in his 30s, was found with no vital signs at the scene and is currently receiving emergency treatment. In addition, two girls and a woman in her 40s sustained serious injuries, the police said.
https://twitter.com/nezumi_ningen/status/1133223326841823237 People are jumping on the Q bandwagon for this; thread
I can't imagine how the parents must feel right now. It's a big shame that even the safest countries aren't safe from attacks like these. Not much you can do against nutjobs either.
Doesn't help that the mass media are publicizing information about the victims right now, on the basis that it is """informative news""". I bet they're trying to get in contact with those involved "asking" them "how do you feel".
Japan has the death penalty, he probably aint gonna be spending his life behind bars
For these people. Yes it actually is at its exactly as fucked up as you imagine.
Knifes can stop or be deflected by bone, whereas bullets usually shatter the bone they hit (although smaller caliber bullets can sometimes deflect off bones depending on angle, for better or for worse).
I hope this doesn't inspire more mass violence over there
Wait I don't get it? Is that dude saying this guy went and stabbed a bunch of kids because he didn't want the media to report "support" for the ompaloompa?
Well Nezumi Ningen isnt, the Q Crew think its the Deep State trying to shift the media away from reporting on Trump and to send him a threat
Thats some pretty intense delusion going on right there. Wasn't even aware this "q crew" thing existed.
The dude who tweeted that made this https://youtu.be/KVeDKuHPDK8 The deep state is the Illuminati in his fan-canon.
Damn, I was hoping Q would go away after the Mueller report didn't provide the evidence to lock up Hilary for pizza-related child shenanigans.
Sadly, even when the shit is proven by themselves to be wrong, they will keep going with it.
Oh my fucking god, exactly what I feared would happen did happen. TBS tried to censor the school principal telling mass media to not take pictures of or interview the children, by cutting him off during that part of the live broadcast. TBS、学校会見でマスコミへの注文時に音声絞る 児童ら殺傷事件報道めぐり批判
Guy with a knife was spotted this morning very close to the school I work at. Pretty scary how close to home some of this stuff can get. We're trained to deal with threats like this throughout the year but this just happened completely out of nowhere in the morning. Horrible stuff, and everything's pretty on-edge at the moment. Also Japanese media tends to be pretty sketch at best
https://www.fnn.jp/posts/00418475CX/201905301710_CX_CX HE HAD A TELEVISION AND A GAME CONSOLE. Shocking! Did he have a refrigerator or a microwave oven too???
Geez I hope this isn't one of those "VIDEO GAMES MAKE KILLERS" headlines that we got over here. Got to wonder how does Japan deal with these incidents vs us if there is any difference. It sucks that the Principal got cut off in favor for more unnecessary coverage.
At least from looking at the comments it seems that people are calling out that bullshit.
Yeah, that's how I found out about it in the first place. It rocketed up to trending on Twitter and everybody was criticizing them for that. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time they have tried to do such a thing so I think it is. It's silly though, because more than 25% of Japanese residences own a game console. Implying that 25% of Japan are possible murderers.
