Hi all,
Ive experienced something pretty bizarre, heres the rundown.
A specific map (not on workshop) that we had someone edit for us a while ago, which we used to use quite frequently on a server does not work on the 64bit client.
I've confirmed this with about 15+ people using it that they get an instant CTD before the starting lua phase in both singleplayer and multiplayer. the original non edited version works fine, but our edited version only works whilst using the 32bit client.
We no longer have contact to the person that edited the map so its not possible to get his input on this.
Any ideas what would cause this/potential fixes? - can post further details like crash logs if necessary, but from my understanding when i was reading it its just a generic message "0x80000003"

Thanks for the quick reply Rubat, sending you the info via email now. ill try to upload a few dumps from a couple people if i can, though the 64bit dumps are pretty large in filesize
Should be fixed now on x64 branch.
I've been experiencing a similar issue with the x64 version, but with this map. It loads up fine, but when attempting to exit the spawn, GMod stops responding.

Out of curiosity, what exactly was causing the crashing?
it was a PlayerProximity material proxy being used on a static prop
