Am I the only one who has a really bad taste in their mouths from the DLC released for Stellaris It never seems worth it whatsoever
Stellaris Story packs are usually like, £7
their larger expansions are really worth it imo. Once I do get around to building those doomsday weapons I had a ball blowing entire Civilizations up and watching the lost populace meld into mine. It's a very "Galactic Empire" thing to do and I love it.
Unlike Bohemia with the Arma series, you don't have to own the DLC to play on a multiplayer server. So long as the server host owns the DLC everybody connected can play it. I'm okay with this and thnik it sets a more positive precedent, plus it gives Paradox some more dough to lengthen the lifespan of their titles. I do think some of the cosmetic DLC pricing can be a bit absurd for the content you get though, like 8/9 bucks for a few portraits and an adviser is big oof
I still have absolutely no clue why they removed the ability to choose which systems belong to which sector, it was honestly an absolutely retarded decision to make the AI decide for you with no choice for input. I loved making specific sectors for certain subjugated/migrated races, and I had control over which systems I can give away but this isn't the case anymore.
What the fuck they removed sector management? Why in gods name.
