Roy Moore hasn’t jumped into the 2020 Alabama Senate contest yet, but one potential GOP rival is already welcoming him into the race. Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-Ala.), who launched his
Senate campaign in February, told The Hill he’s spoken to GOP sources close to Moore who said the controversial former Alabama judge will announce his candidacy for the Senate in the
coming days.
Byrne said those conversations took place within the past week, though he has not personally spoken to Moore. A second member of the Alabama congressional delegation said he also
has heard that Moore will announce he’s running for the Senate in June.
But Republican officials in Washington have vowed to do whatever they can to stop Moore from winning the party’s nomination, worried that he would once again hand Jones a victory.
The Washington Post won a Pulitzer Prize for reporting on Moore’s predatory behavior toward young women. But Moore has denied the allegations, and earlier this month, his wife, Kayla
Moore, sent supporters a fundraising email stating that her husband “is not only fighting back in court against those who conspired to destroy his political career, but is also seriously
considering another run for the United States Senate!”
Asked if Moore could win the GOP nomination, Byrne replied that he could not. “I think people are very concerned that we Republicans lost a U.S. Senate seat because he was our nominee
in 2017 and we don’t need to do that again,” Byrne said in the interview. Moore's political baggage “hasn’t gone away.”
It's at times like this that the Child Molester rating has utility again.
I think we all knew this was going to happen though, right? Hasn't it basically been confirmed he was going to run for months?

He lost before, he'll lose again.
Casting my vote for Jones was one of the proudest acts of civil duty I've ever preformed
Glad you voted for Jones, but don't be too sure Moore will lose again. He nearly won, and there's a good chance they will forget or ignore that shit he did and vote for him if he is the nominee.
In a sane world, he would be laughed at and possibly in prison. But right now, we have people who would rather vote for a pedophile and be Russian than vote for and be a Democrat. So make sure you vote.
Remember when Republicans tried to judge Roy Moore out and then Trump went all in on him and held several rallies to stump for him?
Strange how the instant Jones won, Trump threw Moore under a bus after betting the house on him. At least he's learned this time around.
Are you sure about that? The tweets read like 'vote the red guy' if nothing else
I mean he's still saying "my team must win this is the single most important issue in my life (for the next 90 seconds before the thought of cheeseburgers distracts him)" yeah, but no surprise. He's saying "get a better candidate, I bet on this horse once and he lost so he's garbage". He only has time for winners.
Anyone who thought Trump wouldn't demand a Republican win forgot who they were thinking about.

And Moore retweeted this, referring to Trump Jr
Ever wonder why the mere mention of my name scares the “hell” out of the Washington DC establishment, liberals, and LGBT?
It's easy to tell why the last one should be concerned.

Gave good ol Roy my blessings, after the shit show my state has been for the past few months, we shouldn't keep adding to the dumpster fire.
