So the past has come into fashion, primarily the 1990s. Fashion. clothing Matrix Glasses ( that's what I call them) https://malaysia.timbangharga.com/cf/350/cdn/HTB1LIHedi6guuRkSnb4q6zu4XXau/Small-Oval-90S-Sunglasses-for-Women-Narrow-Face-Ladies-Sun-Glasses-Girls-Designer-Luxury-Transparent-Glasses.jpg https://static.dezeen.com/uploads/2019/01/london-mens-fashion-week-plastic-design_dezeen_2364_col_4-852x1278.jpg Overalls, and fisherman hat, large oversized clothing https://static.highsnobiety.com/thumbor/NOu-Bh6R5l3Df86LKb7M_MSAmKs=/fit-in/800x1200/smart/static.highsnobiety.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/05115209/90s-hip-hop-fashion-04.jpg Technological Snapchats' attempt of this trend https://i.pinimg.com/originals/1b/77/f6/1b77f63bea7b9d52abb47254848616e9.jpg Sounds like GTA San Andreas I know it's not 2019, but it plays just about every 30/48 hours on my local station. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmcRuI4f6bU Clothing, and at the end is what supposed to look like an old recording with film grain https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2cFkVfVf2Y Do I need to explain?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plqYLV_Bkek This is a good song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUmV-MorIKc Electronic 90's beat music coming back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMtmKFjMQ7k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZQ_YXaO3I0 Indie Music 2000s 90s, back to the future https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hh1WeQxfCX0 Don't need to tell you what year this is supposed to be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PH7dK6SLC8 https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/350531/c6fc204e-1217-4593-9feb-faab24fdb7d2/image.png Stranger Things, movie based off the 1980s https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/350531/7aa5486e-1347-4830-b43f-ef48947cf022/image.png Got super popular out of nowhere, it caught the train on time I suppose. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B5yekGzCQAIFgpw.jpg https://hips.hearstapps.com/esq.h-cdn.co/assets/17/02/1484008874-gettyimages-85377781.jpg One big difference from this trend is that girls have MASSIVE eyebrow/eyelashes now. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/350531/ff364824-95ef-45c9-aef2-c7e345c928b5/image.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/350531/3b11f4c9-8add-4e97-a3dd-25249b2545f3/image.png So if anything the make up is from the 1980s. ____________________________________________________ The rest of popular mainstream the music takes a lick at this 90s trend, but still plays 2013/4 rap beats. _____________________________________________________________ I actually don't find this annoying, go on as you wish, I find it quite impressive. _________________________________________________________________ It reminds me somewhat of the 1970s, and the 1870s. Beards, big coats, big collars, dark colors. Earth/natural colors. http://amorq.com/uploads/tumb/title/201601/weird-1970s-menswear-zebra_tumb_660.jpg https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f4/9a/fb/f49afb73661056c03a482d67bfe4d901.jpg I don't know I didn't really want to make a joke about this, but your missing a couple of things from the 90s, that'll never be built again. Also it's great to have new stuff, but it's good to look back now and then to remember the path your walking on.
I am absolutely having a 1920s revival party in 2020. I can't wait, I think it's the nerdiest neatest idea and I wanna just require people to dress period appropriate and play electro-swing all night and drink old timey cocktails
I've been though every year phase myself, dating back to the 1920s all the way the way to 2000s 2010s. 6th Grade I used to have my hair slicked with hair gel parted, and wear dress pants and shirt. Don't blame me, blame Mafia II. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/3/3d/Pre-war_spring_outfit.png/revision/latest?cb=20110508002829

New Badage Boys confirmed
I hate explaining things by writing, so people easily mistake me for them. Then this is a eye catching topic, but that's what "General" wants. I also didn't make up all of this, as most of my peers agree with me.
Haven't we just been on a trend in the past decade or so of throwback getting more overbearing than usual? I wouldn't mind that much, except what usually happens is that instead of using a good thing from a past era in a clever way, people just insert the trend in anywhere and assume they're doing the same thing. I'm cool with the way synths have crept back into popular music (I have heard a lot of pop songs that just sound better than popular rock bands, jesus christ) but then like, I'm sooooo sick of all these generic synthwave tunes.
I have no idea what this is
you're missing out buddy https://www.youtube.com/user/TheReportOfTheWeek
Put that's like a personal thing, mainstream corporations and everything are making money off nostalgia.
I just want naughtieswave. Britney Spears nostalgia, lol
...and mullets They're back
Haven't seen one, might just be dead for good. But what I do see everywhere are the mushroom head https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/350531/7f276806-2f17-42e6-a17d-d54579fa7e8e/dfdfbdf.PNG Usually associated with highschool vape heads who smoke in bathrooms
