I remember as a kid, kicking in the VHS to play movies like Aladdin, Alvin and the Chipmunks, watch the tv in the morning watching Sonic animated series, mario.
I remember how beautiful these movies are, their artistic styles, their stories, they were golden years.
What's one thing in common, just about every one of these movies ( Mario ) are being CGIed or already have been CGIed. And my god they look TERRIBLE!!! To start off with, these reboots don't even have a fixed story, none of it make sense, and if it's a just copy and paste story, the characters in both scenarios look HORRIFYING. It's tough times to be kid now, unless you have access to Youtube or some sketchy site.

You say that as if the original Lion King isn't a retelling of Hamlet.
Well at least it sold something no one knew anything about. Everyone is still well and alive when the first Lion King film from Disney came out.
No one knew anything about Hamlet prior to The Lion King? Did I read your post correctly or am I'm seeing things?
It was a modern version of the Hamlet if that's how you look at it. But now we are sticking to the same story and releasing it again.
