man if only we had similar laws in the US
Would it be a stretch to assume the image might tarnish his chances of becoming PM, even if he is cleared?
It's extremely dubious at this point if we have these laws here. It's the first time they've been applied in this manner.
They'd vote for Hitler for a lot more reasons than just Brexit.
That being said I can imagine a lot of forum users here would vote for Senator Steven Armstrong, Mayor Hagar or Emperor Palpatine given the chance.
Source isn't appearing for me, so here's the beeb: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48445430 The former foreign secretary faces three allegations of misconduct in public office, between 21 February and 23 June 2016, and between 18 April and 3 May 2017. Guess what for, thats right the brexit battle bus: "The UK has never sent, given or provided £350m a week to Europe - that statement is simply not ambiguous."
Ladies and gentlemen, we didn't get him https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48554853
Of course it's politically motivated, if he's lying to manipulate the people then he can't be trusted to hold a public office.
god I hate the defense that being transparently a liar means you can't be held accountable. I get that there's probably some procedural fuckup here but just because someone was vocal about deceiving people doesn't make it right
cant believe fucking bj is gonna be the next PM of the UK, jesus christ.
