When i play rust after 1-2 hours my ram usage goes to 16gb/16gb is that even normal ....
is there a way to allocate certain amount of ram for the game in launch options or something

16gb ram
It's not normal at all, but it is when the game has awful memory leaks.
Rust, Minecraft(Java), Just Cause 3, massive RAM usage is fairly typical due to poor optimization
you basically just have to reboot the game after a while
Is it normal? No. Probably a memory leak.
Is it within the recommended system requirements? Yes. Rust recommends 16GB RAM for a reason.

I just play vanilla solo/duo servers 100-200 pop maximum.
