I thought this was a joke when I first saw this, but nope. This is serious.
It reminds me of the whole "Freedom Fries/Toast" thing when France told America to fuck off out of Iraq. I thought it was a joke until a waitress in a Waffle House in Florida responded to my question of if they had French Toast with "No, but we got FREEDOM toast."
What the fuck America? This joke was supposed to be dead.
No offence intended Americans, but your intrinsic born-and-bred patriotism is kinda weird to outsiders, even when it isn't so radical that it becomes a caricature of itself.
ah yes, some freedom gas to go with my freedom fries. the whole freedom package.
Nobody who has any level of intelligence in America actually falls for the Jingoism
Freedom fries/toast was funny, but at least it was just a food thing. Like how some fast food places make pet names for their food, like french fries into Smash fries or french toast into "griddle buddies".
Okay, you want to take the French out of the name, sure, go ahead.
But this is jingoism on a whole different level.
burning the atmosphere FOR FREEDOM
"Freedom gas" is bizarre and laughable, even to Americans. I don't think even Fox News will try to defend this hilariously dumb phrasing, though they'll probably try to defend the general idea of energy independence through increased fossil fuel utilization. (Which, to be fair, isn't a prima facie bad idea, I would very much like America to stop sponsoring Saudi Arabia via oil imports, but I consider climate change a greater threat so I'd rather achieve energy independence through carbon-neutral means.)
So what's coal going to be called, that Trump is suppose to bring back?
Dw, It's weird to us normiecans too
Freedom Bricks.
Freedom Stone
Just a friendly reminder, just like not all British people wear top hats, drink tea all day long, or worship the queen, not all Americans are this ridiculously patriotic/dumb/gun-loving/fat/pick your stereotype.
reminds me of "Freedom Fries"
Freedom Rocks
Dunno know about that one, I've yet to see a Brit here like the queen any less than "mildly". And I've yet to see one go so far as to even "somewhat dislike" her
I very much dislike the queen.
There ya go
unless you were joking, in which case i'm a dumb-dumb
As funny as this sounds, our fetishization of American values are disturbing when you consider how deeply corrupt as a country we really are.

produced in the US as "freedom gas" and "molecules of U.S. freedom" in a
press release announcing the expansion of a natural gas facility in
Texas.
Ahhh breathe in the freedom molecules and get freedom cancer.
They did this in the US Capitol's cafeteria too if you're wondering.
Excuse me, that's freedom growth, and America is a proud, Christian, pro-life nation! Also a full round of chemo is like $675,000 after you add it all up
Yeah we know. We also collectively cringe when someone (usually conservative) unironically blares out Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A song as if it was praising the U.S.A.
This song hilariously and a bit unnervingly is played moreso at republican rallies than anywhere else and those people cheer it on when it is a direct criticism of those very people. In fact I believe this happened at a trump rally once or twice.
i want to directly inhale freedom gas
what are you talking about? you all don't have patriotic pictures of your flag with crying bald eagles on the front of your debit cards?
Ate too many Freedom Fries, it's causing me to have Freedom Gas for hours on end, does my private insurance cover this?
Freedom fries and this are probably the only times I've ever seen the MURICA FREEDOM shit used unironically
I wish we could redirect that intense patriotic spirit towards something productive, like a new space race, or rebuilding America's infrastructure, or becoming energy independent by building more nuclear reactors so we don't have to rely as much on "freedom gas".
Instead its just stupid bullshit like this, or actual malicious shit like the wall
Kinda weird? It’s batshit insane
As an American I hate it personally and agree. I feel no strong ties to this country honestly, but I'm probably in the minority here. The only thing that stops me from leaving is financial related stuff. Also, inb4 NSA thinks I'm a terrorist or something, lol.
As an American, seeing any other countrymen who still feels strongly patriotic makes me question their intelligence and/or sincerity.
It's not patriotism, it's nationalism.
Being patriotic is still trying to defend the country and make changes to make it right.
Being nationalist is this.
