I was looking up Nanosaur, a game I played back in elementary and found this. Incredible.
I fucking loved cro-mag rally. I wish they'd bring their games to pc or console.
I must have played hundreds of hours of Cro Mag Rally on my iMac. Loved that game to bits. I never got on well with Nanosaur but I liked Nanosaur 2.
Man, Pangea Software. I remember the first (and for a while ONLY) game I played of theirs was Ottomatic, cause it was one of the bundled software that came on the eMac computer that my parents got around when I was only 3 years old, and man did I ever have fun with that one. I remember that the furthest I ever got was the second level, as I had so much trouble getting through the first level since I would just wonder around aimlessly (I was a toddler, what did you expect?). It was also the very first game I ever played, so it and Pangea Software definitely hold a special place in my heart.
Actually, a lot of Pangea Software’s games (the ones they made before they switched to full-time IOS development) ARE on PC. Though not all of them, and only a few made it to consoles.
But funnily enough, while those few console ports were for handhelds, Cro-Mag Rally, while being one of the games that didn’t get a PC port, was actually the only one that actually got a home console release. Specifically on the XBOX 360 through the indie games section of XBLA.
