Hello there! I wanted to come back to GMod modding with a simple script, and it's something that doesn't impress me that hasn't been done before: Many people disliked Aux. Power back when Half-Life 2 was released. But still, I wanted to give it a try for the nostalgia, and maybe some people may find use in this for their servers!
This addon for Garry's Mod attempts to replicate the Auxiliary Power feature from Valve's 2004 game 'Half-Life 2'.
Features
Limited sprinting
Limited oxygen underwater
Drowning (thanks to your flashlight!)
Limited flashlight
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 standalone flashlight
Customization includes
Toggle the whole system
Toggle each feature
Toggle between using vanilla flashlight or Episode 2's flashlight system
Change colour of HUD elements
Change position of HUD elements
Change rates of energy consumption and recovery globally
Change rates of energy consumption and recovery per feature
