Did he really just cut the line to "free" that first fish? You literally just left a hook in that fish's mouth/throat; might as well killed it anyways.

it also looks like he could have just cut the hook itself, which would make it come out even easier.
I can't believe that thing worked at all. That is a LOT of torque for such a puny fishing rod/reel. Could see a brushless electric reel being quite useful for deep sea stuff where yer catchin' fish that weigh as much as small children, though.
