No fucking way, let me guess, they gonna gatekeep the upper ranks to be premium only.
I am a bit fed up because every FUCKING major content update they raise the max power level of the gear and then give a quest for a complete gear set that was at the previous cap,
so reaching the top is meaningless because some months down the line they will have raised the upper limit again, making the grind that was put into getting so far fucking meaningless.
Rinse and repeat.

It coming to steam makes a lot of sense since Bungie split from Activision a few months ago and managed to keep the rights to Destiny, so they're publishing the game on their own now and can finally do what they want.
Wonder if people who own Destiny 2 on Battle.net will get a steam key for it on Steam
Bungie recently updated the ingame microtransaction store, so I wouldn't be suprised if it went F2P today
PC gamers will be pleased to note that Destiny 2 will soon be available on Steam, and can migrate their progress and purchases over for free.
I've heard this is similiar to warframe, it' might be good for them to have some competition shaking things up a bit.

The cross save with xbone is neat....but.....Sony is fucking us over. AGAIN. I'm so tired of their ostrich-head-in-sand strategy to avoiding features like this. I thought it was getting better with the new call of duty being fully cross play between all versions, but it seems they still have a bone to pick with devs.
It's a slower-paced FPS with more focus on gunplay than mobility and abilities and it's less of a "power/fashion fantasy" game than Warframe.
Other than shared themes they're really not that similar.
Myth and Oni are both owned by Take Two.

They just announced that the next expansion is coming EXCLUSIVE to Steam on PC. So yeah, Steam will be the new home for Destiny going forward.

Hey, that's pretty cool. I'd definitely say that this model works- I first tried D2 when it had that free-to-keep period, and ended up sticking with it long enough to buy both Forsaken and the season pass.
Hope it's works out for 'em. I've really enjoyed my time with D2, and having it on steam'll definitely help get more people in on it.
