I got a youtube video copystriked by a seemingly bogus "claimant". What do I do?

My video had been fine for awhile. It was a funny joke video about John Wick 2 that I made just for fun. It suddenly blew up when a bunch of individuals from a South American country mistook it for the full movie, and I suspect this copy claim was made by a salty individual who thought it was the full movie.
The email that google told me to contact the claimant didn't actually send the email and it came back to me as a failed message (it was an @pages.plusgoogle.com email).
So my question is - what do I do from here? My idea is to counter claim it as fair use, and citing that the copyright claimant has no legal authority over the content of my video (I cannot find proof of the claimant having any relevancy over the film and its distribution, this copyright was NOT made by Lionsgate). I believe this was a false claim.
The video is now permanently down until September and I have to take some copyright class once the strike expires, it can come back up. At the end of the day I really don't care if the video stays or goes or not because I'm not a big youtuber or really a youtuber at all for that matter, I just upload some fun videos for myself and friends every once in awhile. But I find this behavior egregious and disgusting and I can't help but want to fight against it.
What should I do in this situation? Should I contest the strike?
It's happened to me before, and it was in the case of a completely bogus music copy-strike. When I contested it, it said that the right holder had 30 days to confirm, deny or ignore the contesting. They apparently ignored it and it went away completely when the time was up.
What is the claim about exactly? It claims that it's John Wick 2, which it really is, though not the full movie? If the claim is technically right, then it could make things more complicated. But usually I think they probably wouldn't let claims that are too much bullshit pass, but it's up to the right holders and how butthurt they can be.
The claimant was "EK2" which i have no idea what it is. The email was more specific, and it led me to some nobody youtube channel with 26k subs but nothing regarding John Wick 2.
The JW2 clip was just a loop video I made for fun. It was a short, 30 second clip I used if it was even that long spanned over the course of 2 hours (the length of the film).
I was kinda scared because I didn't want a legal lawsuit which they said can happen.
It's weird because I have a similar video that I made just for fun which is falling subject to the same thing (people from Brazil viewing the video thinking it's the full film, then thumb downing it when it isn't, hence the mass thumb downs). There's a recent sudden spike in traffic when JW3 started to roll out.

You can't do anything. You have to just wait it out and accept it as that. This happens to practically anything and there's nothing that will fix it.
I'm not fucking with you. Youtube is this bad.
i've had two videos taken down by bogus claimants.
You should contest the claim. They always say it can result in a lawsuit but anyone can see this is stupid.
Why couldn't you just contest and wait for them to escalate, which they won't if it's clearly fradulent?
I would like to know what they're trying to claim is copywrite, as in what portion of the video they are claiming. If it is a clip from John Wick 2, but you've edited over it with funny noises or psted over graphics you can probably get away with calling it fair use under parody.
I know one of my most popular youtube vids used Feel Good Inc but with "fuck bees" clipped in, I know it got taken down with a copywrite stike but I claimed it as fair use under parody. That was enough to get the video back up and I didn't have to split the monetization.
That's usually what they do. Even when its 'real' they never care. You just wait 30 days, every time. They have to be the ones too.
They actually followed up today and it appears they are a real copy protection company representing golden village films.
I gave them links to multiple clips with millions of views and basically told them to take their shit down instead of wasting their time with a small fish like me. But I did tell them I'd delete the other video to avoid any trouble.
