90-100 fps my gpu usage is %50 i got gtx 1060 and amd ryzen 2600 how can i fix
hahahaha
Good luck getting 144fps out of Rust unless you're on a map with no buildings on it and you're running a 1080 Ti overclocked to "card on fire" levels, or you're running at 1280x720 potato graphics. If you don't have God's own PC you're going to have to do incredible things to get 144fps stable.
Rust's performance optimization potential is constrained by the fact that it's an open-world sandbox game with arbitrary building. You're just not going to be able to optimize it the way a game with fixed level geometry and predefined confined spaces can.
dude im playing pubg and rainbow six siege im getting 150 fps how cant i get 144 fps on rust that's so bad
Neither PUBG nor Rainbow 6 Seige let you build shit all over the map. Comparing those two games to Rust and expecting to get the same performance is like comparing a diesel tractor and a rally car, they're completely different things and anyone who expects them to perform the same is going to be disappointed every single time.
I don't say this shit to blow smoke up your ass, it's the facts.
If you think you know how to optimize Rust, how about you start explaining it. Use as much technical detail as possible. Do you even know what the words "garbage collection" mean in game programming?
you should be able to change your refresh rate

While I'm sure this is part of the problem the RUST developers told me point blank the lack of GPU utilization was a unity engine limitation and there was nothing they could do to fix it.
Either way, won't be fixed. Learn to live with it.
I heard something about rust limited it to 100 fps and you be able to unlimit it somehow. Look in to it ;)
