Serious question, but has anyone ever grabbed a non-game app from the Microsoft Store? The only one i've ever used was WeChat but that's cuz most of my family has WeChat on their phones.
I've downloaded Netflix and Hulu, but that's because those sites stutter for me in Chrome and Edge for some reason.
You need to use the Store to get Windows Subsystem for Linux working. That's the only time I ever opened it on purpose.

If Game Pass actually transfers back over to PC then i'd have a reason to get the Game Pass.

While I do agree with this statement. I also believe Microsoft are also the most capable at using it better than anyone else, with proper optimisation.
But even so, it's nothing in comparison to compiled machine code.
Since Microsoft own Github, who are the main maintainers of the framework.
If Windows gets IE powered by Chromium, they will have the full power to implement Electron applications into the native browser, which will provide a benefit, as the operating system (and thus, Microsoft engineers) will have more control on resource management
