• [Paid Job] Looking for a coder to make a player movement addon

I am looking for a coder to make an addon that will affect the player movement based on the playermodel chosen. For example, when I pick the kleiner playermodel I can run faster, jump less high, and have a smaller hull. I wish to use this in playermodel packs I am working on. Specifically, I will need these variables modified. Sprint Speed Run Speed Walk Speed Acceleration/Deceleration Speed Hull Size Hull Size Crouch Viewport height (how high off the ground the first person camera is) Jump Height Weapon Scale (third person weapon model scale) Base Health Stat Base Armor Stat Fall damage threshold (how fast you need to be before you take damage from falls) Gravity Scale Optional Features that I would like, but aren't required. "Flight" Basically noclip except you can't clip through walls (hit space while in air to fly) Damage scale (how resistant to damage the player is) I would also like the addon to be modular, so I can have the base addon, then other workshop addons feed playermodels and stats into it. Also console commands to disable it entirely. I would also like it to work with networking properly (iirc hulls have issues syncing). The addon would only need to work with sandbox. Other gamemode compatibility is not a concern. Please let me know if a certain aspect is unfeasible/impossible. As for the price, I'm willing to pay $75 but that is negotiable. im not applying here. Just to note that either you want these features to work for just a few from you selected playermodels, otherwise this wont be possible. There are thousands of playermodels. giving each one their own abilities would be infinite amount of code and work You can probably plan on a much higher payment. Especially for the amount of code that is gonna be needed
It was only going to be just a few playermodels. I was working on custom playermodels such as cats, dragons, and other things, and was wanting them to look proper from both first and third person. Do you have a guesstimate for the price? I just threw out a number
prolly better making your own game seriously though, animations n shit get complied with that specific model, so it'd take a ridiculous amount of time as Trackstar was saying. Best of luck though <3
You guys need to get more experience. Nothing he said here is impossible or even remotely difficult. The hardest part MAYBE is the acceleration management because there are a bunch of variables involved in that, but otherwise its literally just numbers. Stiffy you should have me on steam.
