Color me curious.
Very cool concept.
The setting (the Island's city and technology in the reveal trailer) looked a lot like to We Happy Few's, with the gameplay mechanics of Dishonored and the 2010 Singularity video game, and having two African-Americans as player characters, Is sounded very interesting already for me. And now I will see the video game's synopsis of what they going for.
So literally all you need is kill or day after tomorrow idea of becoming a more and more efficient killer by repeating the same day repeatedly? Great idea for a game tbh.
I can't even figure out if it's supposed to be a singleplayer game or not, why is the description so cryptic?
Is it just me or does it feel slightly Bioshock-ish?
the plot is kinda similar to KATANA ZERO, no?
? Katana Zero is about a drug that grants its user precognition, this is about two people abusing a temporal loop.
This sounds kinda like a similar thing they tried in Prey: Mooncrash, which imo ended up a bit underwhelming towards the end. If that's what they are going for, I'm hoping they can flesh out the idea more this time around, now that they are making a full game out of it, instead of just a small expansion.
Im surprised the outrage drivin game outlets haven't made a stink about the place being called black reef and the main characters being black
I wonder how the live/die cycle mechanics will play out, yes the aforementioned Edge of Tomorrow comparison, but I wonder if there'll be some procedural mechanics. Best example I can think of is the procedural mechanics of the live/die cycle in Prey: Mooncrash (also developed by Arkane).
Thats the same voice actor as Lee from TellTale Walking Dead?
Spy vs. Spy hardcore edition. Sign me the FUCK up
I loved Edge of Tomorrow/ All You Need is Kill. Really like the concept being applied here.
I'm curious as to what this game actually is. This is probably one of the worst examples of prerendered E3 trailers telling us fuck all about the game.
Bethesda must love this song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATkxa5XSD18
its like Journey but instead of helping your random partner progress, you gotta kill em to keep your own progress intact
kinda digging the whole 70s feel of it actually.
