I've been waiting for a PROPER sequel to lego racers for over a decade, so I'll take what I can get thanks.
The people who hated the Horizon 3 hotwheels expansion must be seething lmao
there's a pretty fair amount of people excited for this, me included, but a fuckton of poeple in the forza community are literally losing their minds over this shit. like the forza discord's been in a frenzy since the announcement. i have no idea what it is about this expansion that's making people so upset. it's fuckin legos calm down
i'd honestly have preferred something a little more grounded, but hey, i'll take experimentation and wacky shit too. we got the hot wheels expansion for Horizon 3, and forza's best in class handling makes shit so much more enjoyable
Do we actually get to build cars? Guess we’ll find out this week.

That's probably my favorite part. It'd be weird if they just put lego cars on a map but it's a whole fucking area too and it looks super hype.
They already got a grounded expansion called fortune island. I really don't get the part of the Horizon community specifically that sperg out at the off the wall expansions because if they want their "reee muh realism" you've already got two maps in Horizon 4 and an entire game series more focused on realism called motorsport.
i doubt that, remember when people thought they could build their tracks in the hotwheels expansion, well that "building" was limited to chainging two sections of the track

Why does anyone NEED to ask for something in order to get it? Who cares if (apparently) nobody asked for this, it looks fun, you don't like it? Move on then, what's the problem.
Besides the song playing which makes me want to forcefully remove my ability to hear, I think this looks pretty cool.
In theory this is cool but honestly I don't have a lot of faith this is not gonna be halfbaked. I'm expecting a couple of LEGO cars and an island with LEGO blocks and that's it, no actual cool innovative stuff
I think this is cool, I always want racing games to embrace the goofiness. I don't expect there to be a full build a car mode but I hope at least the cars are more varied than "bugatti but made of bricks"
