Cannot fucking wait.
animations look awful, exactly as they should for a good old-fashioned RPG
So many promising RPGs coming out. What a time to be alive.
Weird, huh?
You kinda want janky animations - because it usually means they compensate for it by creating an awesome world.
Hope that release window won't collide too much with Cyberpunk, or it's going to be like it was with Half-Life 2 and the first one.
Except this time the games are way closer thematically.
Looks pretty cool... never played the first one, it just never seemed to call my name. This one has my attention.
It was about fucking time
I would recommend playing through the first one. Not just because some characters from it might appear in the sequel, but because the first game is genuinely good. Just install the unofficial patch.
I'll give it a shot.
GOG version comes with a lot of fixes already, and latest one of unofficial patch is a must have for both Steam and GOG here www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/4647/7/
Oh yeah a word of advice. Don't play Malkavian or Nosferatu for the first playthrough. Those are very different experiences when compared to the more "normal" clans.
I can't believe they managed to get that shot of a shotgun pump without the arm moving into the trailer and nobody on the team noticed
While the gameplay structure might be similiar I think the audiences for C2077 and VTMB are very different. There's no doubt an overlap and I think any game publisher is gonna try to steer clear of Cyberpunk's release date, though.
Malkavian is absolutely doable, but you will need to study your dialogue choices better and you run the risk of spoiling yourself if you can decipher the madness. (Though for me that's actually more reason to do it because it's really playing in to the character.) Nosferatu though are absolutely are harder sell. Malk was actually my first run through though and almost certainly will be here as well.
Seeing an honest to god list of dialogue options shouldn't be as exciting as it is, but... it is.
I was worried they'd strip it down.
While perfectly doable you'll appreciate the differences like the main character going absolutely mental when talking to cabbie if you have experienced how the conversation should "properly" go. I played as a Malkavian first and only appreciated many of the differences on my second "proper" playthrough.
Maybe they should get Keanu Reeves into this one also to confuse gamers
well they did get actual bruce willis and weird al yankovic, i'm sure they can spare some budget on a little keanu

Keanu would a 150% work as a vampire
Looks more like Tommy Wiseau.
Come to think of it, Tommy has toyed with the idea that Johnny from The Room is a vampire, and that he might do a vampire movie one day. He would be the perfect Malkavian.
Hahaha, what a Bloodline mark.
