I don't know if an expansive detailed beautiful game where half the appeal is the sheer spectacle of the world is going to be best experienced on "my laptop is on fire" graphics settings. Being available on more platforms is always nice so that more people have opportunities to play it but man I'm glad this isn't how I'm playing Witcher 3.
Sad but people are going to compare it with PC in a pretty dishonest manner, I'm very much going to bet will happen.
It's a huge different but that's exactly what you can expect
Real talk though open world games like this on a mobile platform is crazy because you have an absurd number of things to do. it's a far better time killer than some dumb candy crash garbage
the switcher 3
This is a good thing, honestly. We laughed at Skyrim for the Switch but it just introduces the game to a new audience who may love it, and serves to further immortalize these masterpieces.
This game is for me. I never have much time to game anymore. So even with my beefy rig I still haven’t gotten to beat the Witcher 3. Switch games however I’ve beaten a ton of big RPGs because I’ll just play em a little each day on my commute or work breaks.
theres a market for portability.
If I recall correctly, the original game performed poorly at launch, but it runs quite well right now, especially for such a large open world game.
I'm sure the port will be good, just with lower texture scales, draw distance, and particle effects.
I wonder about the load time though. For me on PC, on an HDD, dieing/reloading takes around 30 seconds. Hopefully on the switch it's improved.
ps 1 lookin ass crow
Honest question from a fellow gamer with absolutely no affiliations from Bethesda, why would you play some no name east european RPG when you can play Skyrim?
