guys do you think they'll port alyx's dildo when they make half life 2 source 2
L4D3 is actually coming though
Are we actually sure about that at this point? There was plenty of evidence during tours and leaked files it was actively being worked on, but it's been a few years now. Isn't it in the same development hell as most other valve projects?
We'll have to wait for FakeFaktory's Cinematic Mod for HL3 in 2035.
I feel like the biggest problem with Valve is their decentralized structure. Sure, the company says that it's good to allow employees to work on what they want, but I feel like one of the reasons we never got another Half Life title is because there wasn't one person leading a team and forcing people to work on it. If Valve adopted that kind of corporate organization, I feel like their game-making days would still be here, because organized teams of developers would still be making games, instead of hats and mediocre controllers.
Then all the SFM pornmakers will have official assets for it, good idea.
level 3 sentry
i want to believe
Wheres the beta memes
I genuinely lost hype for Half-Life 3 about 5 years ago when it was obvious that it wasn't happening (or at least any time soon anyways).
They don't have to be constantly making games, though. There are plenty of games to play as is.
also iirc their not a dedicated games company, they focus more on Steam
How mad would people be if they released a Half-Life 3.5?
Am I the only one who would be happy if they released Ricochet 2 for VR?
yaa
frickin 5 years ago since hope was already lost christ lol
There are more than 3 Counter strike games.
Not in title. Afaik every CS game is CS [subtitle], rather than CS#.

By that logic we got HL3 in 2001
3. Yes or no?
Next major Valve game will be l4d3
next major valve game will be artifact 2
You're both wrong. Artifact will be the last game they ever release, Gabe's promises notwithstanding. All other projects will be stuck in development hell and never officially announced.
They wouldn't talk about new games if they weren't sure they would be released.
Is anyone even sure what they would do anymore if Half Life 3 actually was announced for a release? It'd be like a meteor flying directly through my roof and striking me this instant. I wouldn't see it coming, it would take me by surprise, and I'd probably be too shocked and/or fucking dead to feel anything about it.
Episode 3.
They learned their lesson from that and Stars of Blood.
