So, I just got this game after a long wait for a sale.
For the first hour, everything was running smoothly and without error. I was playing at "Good" settings and with 80 players on an official server. Near the 80-90 minute mark, the game began slowing down and bugging out. I restarted the game and the effects progressively increased in severity. At 2 hours of play time, I was running at "Potato" settings with 30 frames or less and with giant black beams flashing over the screen, constantly shifting and seemingly coming from objects with no real set pattern. When I looked in my inventory, a multi-colored static-like beam continuously flashed in the background. Has anyone had any similar experiences and do fixes exist? I have been anticipating getting this game for a while and it would suck to already have it broken.
