i was playing yesterday fine,uninstalled Steam and reinstalled it and Rust but i still get the same error, i reinstalled another
Steam game and it work's perfectly so i wager it's a Rust thing only.

plus i ran the RustClient.exe as an Administrator ,got the launcher to run but it fails connecting to a server with an EAC connection error, so it's prob the EAC server.

When I go to Rust through this method on behalf of the administrator who you showed I'm safely logging in but I can not connect to the server that writes that the anti-cheat EAC timed out
EAC has been made aware and hopefully get a fix out shortly.
how soon? how many still have to wait?)
eta on the fix? slightly annoyed it's taken this long for them to just notice
