I haven't watched Doctor Who in two years. What's the general consensus on the writing staff change excluding Moffat?

Yeah, I'm excited to see how Bradley portrays 1. I hope he's not a grump, because by the end of 1s tenure he was actually nice. Like a doddery old granddad.

God yes. I can't wait. I'm just sick of his style tbh, I really hate everything about him.

Honestly, I personally liked everything I saw from Moffat. I started watching in 2005 and continued regularly until about halfway through Capaldi, around the Christmas episode at the North Pole. I wasn't involved at all with the fandom though, so I never even thought about any of the common criticisms associated with his tenure - it certainly wasn't my favorite show, but I liked it well enough. I totally get why people are glad he's leaving though.

I don't like the costume it looks clownish. We don't want a clown again, that's how Who got cancelled last time.

I know it'll be an adjustment for the Doctor but I don't see why she would dress like that. On discovering the femaleness I would have thought she'd want to wear something a bit more suitable to the female body.
