New low-tier weapons (Sling or slingshot?! And wooden club?!)

I'd like to see more primitive low tier weapons to close the gap between the spear/bow. I saw a slingshot on reddit that looked pretty awesome, there's also the possibility of a sling that could just require a small amount of cloth and perhaps use stone as ammo? And what about a wooden club that's a good starter weapon requiring only a small amount of wood? Yes please.
