Looks like the bp system is here to stay. As much as I'm not a fan due to the sheer costs of scrap involved, I would like to suggest a way of making it slightly more bearable. Simply unlock the more basic weapon tiers such as the revolver and semi rifle. Up to date I have never actually found a SAR, finding the ak, thompson and bolty looong before the SAR. It's a bit out of whack when you find endgame weapons before the basics. At least having the basics unlocked when you start will give you a fighting chance against larger groups rather than been steamrolled because all you are able to make is a crossy. Also unlock some of the more basic building items like signs and tuna can lamps. I think getting a blueprint should be an exciting experience, Instead of the disappointment of yet another planter or chair... And please give us a fighting chance to defend ourselves after we establish a base. A crossy just doesn't cut it.
I don't really think that we should be giving everyone everything right from the start, then we are just a component system and that sucked.
I absolutely agree, but that's not what I was suggesting. I was suggesting the idea of having the more basic and low tier item blueprints available from the start. Things such as planters, lamps, signs, water barrels for example. As for weapons, having access to the revolver and SAR would help greatly fending off marauding groups. You would still need to find the components, build a workbench and harvest the resources required to make said items BUT you would no longer have to rely on luck finding that item and researching it. It's hardly going to be game changing being able to craft a tuna can lamp and people will ditch the revolver and SAR as soon as they are able. It just gives you a slightly better chance of surviving out there long enough to return with your pockets full of scrap.
Watch grizzly's new video. first day of wipe and he got a satchel charge. All you have to do is put effort into being good at the game, pvp, and making loot runs.
That's great. He found a satchel charge. So now he needs the bp for a beancan too. Oh, and he needs to acquire something better than a xbow to stand any chance of even getting to his destination with his newly made satchels. Cool story bro, so by this logic I should be winning the lottery sometime next week cos that other guy won it previously.....😁
