I have 40 fps, but game randomally freezes for 5 seconds or so over time, help!

I have around 30 -50 fps all the time , but the random freezes while playing the game makes me mad, i hope you can fix it somehow! and the freezes are sometimes longer sometimes shorter... by every update the frame drops are more often coming

How much RAM does your PC have? What graphics card do you use? what is your CPU's spec? Do you have the laters drivers for everything in your PC?
These are the stuff that might be the issue.

I have 8 gb of rams, gtx 730 low profile 1gb and i5 3.30ghz not sure about the drivers..

Mmm, this should not cause any issues. area you getting this issue when your settings is on potato mode and all the quality settings on low?
If so, then it might be apps in the background that causes your PC to freeze a bit or it could be drivers.
When i get issues like this i just tend to format my PC and start fresh. If you still get this issue then you know it is the game and not your PC but for now we can safely say its your PC and not the game.

yes, my settings are basically potato. I usually close all the running apps before going to rust. I´m going to try to update my drives. Thanks for the advice

Do i just have to update my GPU driver or all of them?

Just try your GPU and if that does not work maybe you will need to check some chipset drivers as well

Yeah i did some things lke updating drivers (idk if it worked ) and stopped some apps that were running and the fps stays at 48 and there havent been any big freezes so it think something worked... Thank you
