Good Day,
Woke up this morning to a Game Ban
1000 hours on the account, never ever ever used a hack; which considering that my deaths to kills ratio is over 6:1 (6 deaths for every single kill) would seem to bear that out. I have played the majority of my time solo, so not part of a group that is hacking. I've tried to be courteous and friendly, which is somewhat different than the normal culture of the game, so I cannot see being banned for behavior.
Is my IP flagged for some reason? I do often play on public wifi, but generally will use a VPN and play across a variety of devices. I've just scanned for rootkits or other malicious software and came up blank.
I'm just confused, as I've seen people actually using mods or admitting to using aimbots or ESP that get reported but seem to stick around, but I think I've been pretty clean.
I could just pick up a new key, do a new account, and hide behind a VPN; as this game has just hit the mark for me in terms of the perfect mix of PvE, crafting, survival, etc... but I actually have no idea what's happened and would like to know what infraction I have committed that caused this.

Because you have been cheating, which creates an unbalance in the universe and by banning you restores the balance in the universe.
Funny thing is I haven't cheated in Rust. I love that game so much, plus I recently bought some skins to play with
