Zombies can be tricked into coming near any garage doors, closing them will result in them either staying near the door long enough for you to kill thme with a hachet or they'll even sometimes just go through the door.
Also another bug, in regarding the garage door, is the the southan factory, the on a seperate side of the builds the doors open inside out.
You can also jump on top of doors but I already reported that in-game, it probably makes you safe from zombies but another player can just close the door and you are probably dead.
