How do I get gunpowder?

I got some sulfur but I don't how to continue from here..
+ where do you get those blueprints - I realized its the only way to learn more recipies right?

Gunpowder requires sulfur and charcoal.

The blueprints (as far as I can tell) only can be obtained by a research kit.

They are ~Extremely~ rare.
The best way to get one is off of a player, but they also has some chances in spawning in crates and zombies.

Blueprints for everything that needs a blueprint will drop. Using a research kit is just more convenient.

I still have to find a use for recycle kits though.

I believe they serve no use as of now because they require a workbench to function and those were removed from the game
