There are too many players, too many "cancerous players" and it lags like hell.
Since the improvements to the servers doesn't seem to catch up to the quick increase of players, I suggest that you put beta key requirement for registering in order to narrow down on the heavy traffic.

I agree, I remember when I thought 30 was too much but compared to how many are on it now it really is unplayable with the lag and delay. Especially as it's an early version it should be limited to a certain number of people until the server can sustain the current count.

That actually makes sense. It will make the new players learn some of the rules and let them learn not to just go randomly killing everyone with hatchets.
Or just wait until the initial popularity fades, we fix some of the lag problems and get multiple servers up.

It'd be nice to play it in the meantime. Maybe if you've been a Facepuncher for over a month you'd be given one beta key exclusive to your account or something
although i guess all this lag generates quite a bit of popularity which helps the game in the long run :c
