• Brightness Option

I wouldn't be looking for a huge change to where you don't need a fire to see, but my screen is not anti-glare. At night it is so bad that I can see what is going on behind me better than what is on my screen. Just an idea, hopefully this can be fixed.
I would like to see it implemented at some point.
This is why they incorporated torches. In real life it's dark, so it's dark in the game.
I noticed changing my gamma settings on my pc that changes in-game, but shortly after the game got darker to compensate >.>

When it is pitch black the stars and moon are still out. With a moon atleast you can see clear as day in most places. Having only the stars out is different, in the middle of the woods you wont see anything infront of you if you have over hang, but with no over hang you can see about 50 meters in front of you with only stars, it takes about 20 minutes for your eyes to adjust.
Im not saying bright enough so we don't have to use torches, but I literally cannot see anything, like 0%. Something needs to be done.
I have the same "problem" as you, I too can see better behind me than what's happening on the screen. I don't mind though, it's only for a minute (one minute), you either grab a torch and run like a crazy person, or u hide in a bush and simply wait until "the dark hour" has passed and then continue. [editline]5th November 2013[/editline] (or do some crafting!)
I agree. The darkness isn't realistic at all. A full moon gives off quite a bit of light. After my eyes adjust (only takes a few minutes) I can clearly see my surroundings, whereas in-game I can't see my hand in front of my face.
There's only maybe 5 or so minutes of pitch black darkness per day-night cycle. Use that time to craft or just go and make a cuppa or something.
MAKE IT PITCH DARK THE ENTIRE NIGHT SO YOU CANT USE GAMMA!
