its pre alpha, i personally wouldnt pay 50$ for a prealpha
well its fun and i might have paid that if i didn't have a key for cheaper, just wait a bit til it drops a bit lower (got a key for friend for 35$ so yeah...)
I don't know why anyone would pay anything above $1 for a key, it's ridiculous

well its a pre Alfa game meaning your a tester also you will be able to get the game on steam when it comes out . The finished product plus you support the hard working devs i would pay 30 dollors max

Last time I bought gmod with tf2 for £10 and tf2 became free on the next day.

I've spent 35$ on it. Im playing it constantly since last Friday so far
Am I the only one who thought people would wait for the price to go down to atleast 10 dollars? When you could apply for beta acsess the website was down so I waited for the next day and it closed :/ then when this auction happens it doesn't go under 45 much :( not trying to bitch or anything btw

It's mainly due to montages and all the hype.
Literally all you do in that game is kill people with hatchets and glitch through walls and steal peoples shit. Not exactly worth more than 10 bucks

Rust is still massively incomplete and not really what I'd consider a game worth money at this point in time (seeing as it's a damn alpha, of course it won't be). Paying $50 to access the pre-alpha and receive the release still seems a bit much for a product that hasn't really been fleshed out enough to judge fully.

I'd still consider it to have a lot of entertainment value judging by today's standards.
If I actually had to pay for my account I'd be willing to spend $70 at tops. I've gotten so many hours of fun out of this and I can see lots of more coming!
i personally would pay 250 buck for the game....if they offer something more like supporter title...some Pack that you start with when you start playing like some kind of unique Jacket.but that auction that start at 240 and drop of 10 buck every freaking hour is gay -_-
That's nothing to moan about, what IS to moan about is the sad people that buy this game for $200 when its an ALPHA BUILD, and fail to realize that you are not necessarily a player but a ALPHA TESTER and then complain that the game is crap.
