Hi, for about a whole year now rust has been showing me this: Rust Launcher Error: GameError - ShellExecute failed with code 5
I have contacted steam support, no reply for about 3-4 weeks.
I can run rust in Admin, with EAC as admin aswell. This lets me load rust, but it doesn't connect to servers.
Run [I]Steam[/I] as admin and do a complete uninstall of Rust in Steam and then delete the Rust folder out of Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\
And then reinstall Rust and make sure you are not opted into any betas in the Betas tab of Rust's properties in Steam. (Right-click Rust, Properties, Betas tab, and make sure it says NONE)
