Hello, When the update came where the weapons were harder to make i thought this would be a good idea but after playing i felt it only made it harder to naked players and wasn't really much of a big deal to groups. When i play solo i would like to have a chance same as everyone else i assume but with the big groups going around raiding its hard to set up a base where the resources are good therefore being much harder for me and other solo players or new players to get weapons to defend ourselves with. For me the best way to get a lot of stuff was to get a gun and kill other players but that said getting a m4 or even a p250 can be difficult when you have to spend 10-20 minutes running to get resources and end up getting killed by groups because they are already full equipped, That said i think the cost of the weapons is kinda high at the moment but other may disagree. (which is fine)
I think this is slowly becoming a tactical team based game, lone wolves die off frequently, unless they find a relatively hidden place to build a 1x1 or something. The best thing for you may be to either join a group (not even a clan if that's not your thing) or find a community of people that will offer each other protection. My first house was built in a community, and two guys in kevlar tried to raid me, I put my stuff away, and suicided, little did they know I had a bed in my neighbor's house who was online, and we both geared and killed them :D Anyway, the more people you can affiliate with, the better off you will be, if you find a community that goes on resource runs, that's even better! Also its even easyer to get weapons now because of the easyer to make guns they added ( the 2 shotguns) if you play carefully you can most times come near to a guys and just shoot him with it
Or you make some rad town runs and hope for luck (zombies are working too)
