Server Owners, have you experienced a ton of DDoS attacks?

So I've been through two seperate server providers, HFB and Multiplay and both have had some horrendous downtime due to what they claim as DDoS attacks. My brand new server right now only had a day of uptime before it went down for what's now....18 hours. Not going to lie, it's getting pretty frustrating. Is anyone experiencing this with these two or others? Has anyone been much luckier than me? If so, what provider do you use?
