• Pubic hair but no hair on the head?

When will we get hair for our characters? The female models look particularly ugly without hair, not to mention it's pretty unrealistic... who has time to shave their head while surviving in the wild?
Why has this just now struck you with the female characters? The men also have pubic hair with no head hair.
Just so you're aware, hair that is just a texture on the skin mesh is WAY different than hair on a character's head that has depth and reacts to physics. Don't make the mistake of thinking it's that easy.
Deal with it... for now.
Yea. Head hair isn't impossibly hard, but it's not a one day job. It's gotta be its own independent entity since it'll be randomized like everything else. then they gotta add 50 different hairstyles. Add physics to the long-hair variants, add a color randomizer. then people complain wanting to color their hair with berries, or braid it, or shave it with a sharp stone like a caveman. And FINALLY after all those weeks of work...it gets covered up by a bucket-helmet.... So yea. It's a massive fustercluck that wouldn't add enough to the game to be worth it. In my opinion at least. Devs may do it eventually to pretty up the Nakeds a bit, but it'll be pretty low on their priority list I think.
Hair should grow over time as you survive. So people who have survived for a week in-game would have a beard going and people who haven't died once in an entire year would have epic beards to show their awesome survival skills.

We will have to watch out for those females with hair down to their feet :pwn:

That would be interesting to see...
Let's take this as a hint:
The only hair issue I have is how neatly groomed female pubes are. You have a perfect triangle with the bikini line cleaned. Not that I don't like it, but I seriously doubt that women would be all groomed up in the context of Rust. In Rust, I'd expect to remove a woman's pants and have it look like Buckwheat from the original Little Rascals was in the process of going down on her. She should look like she's be ready to star in 70s porn.
That's what hats are for.
not to mention it's pretty unrealistic... who has time to shave their head while surviving in the wild?
Look at it this way: Who's to say that players have no hair on their heads by choice/their own doing? Granted its moreso looking at it from a potential backstory/lore point of view rather than a gameplay mechanic, but think about that.
Maybe it has something to do with the lore ya never know...

I agree that it is a tad unrealistic that no one has any body hair whatsoever except for in the pubic region.
