Ok so my friend and I were just running by a radtown and all of a sudden we each start taking about 40-50 damage. no gunshots, no arrows, no one even close to us. It was super quick, within 5 seconds we were both dead. Then the death screen said " Killed You with a hit to your body". couldnt have been a bolt action or arrows because it was REALLY quick. When we asked if there were hackers or abusive admins no one said anything. Dont know if its a glitch or hacks but when i came back to our backpacks, of course all the good loot was gone. Any ideas?
Perhaps suicide cheat?
couldnt have been because the death screen didnt say i killed myself and it wasnt an instant death. it was like 3-4 quick hits of damage. ive been suicide hacked before, it wasnt that.
What exactly did the death message say
Well, how was your RAD?
Perhaps it was something around 700 and you didn't notice that (I had something similar due a server lag).
Willing to bet it was someone who macro'd their pistol to fire like an autocannon and used aimbot/whatever.
And of course hackers aren't going to say anything if they don't want to get caught.

there was a linux glitch that caused RAD immunity
so I'd assume not registering rad in some certain way could cause you to take damage but not see it

macro pistols with anti recoil is like instant death in any game
there was NO noise. so perhaps it was a silenced pistol but i doubt they had the range to hit us both without us hearing anything. The death message said "Killed you with a hit to your body"

Bugged rad does no noise.
yes but we were not anywhere near over 500 rads. plus rad damage doesnt go like 40 at a time.
Probably a cheater, same thing happens to me few hours ago in UK 3, but the cheater's name was actually appearing in the death screen.
According to the local chatbox this guy was roaming and killing everyone. I hope the new cheatpunch will be able to stop this.
I had something similar but it also showed I was killed by somebody. I was killed, respawned in my house and then killed again the exact same way. I don't think they cheaters knows when your dead so they just do it for a little while. Basically they seem to be able to hit you with axe from anywhere once they get your name.
It's the new suicide hack... it kills you in three hits. We had one on US central 4 the other day. We ran to the same spot multiple times, and everytime it was exactly the same damage and both of us dying at the same time with the same message: "- killed you with a hit to your body". Avoid that area.

alright, thats what it is i guess. Sucks. hopefully they get on that quickly.
