PVE Server House not Protected and Short Question!

have yesterday build my First big House when i on Come all my Woods Doors and Metal Doors Destroyed
why on Pve Server Doors destructible?
And i have players See on Pve Server with Bandit skin how get this ? pvp is off
Player Versus Player has nothing to do with your house since the other player is not actually attacking you, only your property which is fair game.
Your house is part of the environment. Don't see why you'd expect it to be protected. Not being able to protect your house or your belongings is the reason why PvE servers are ridiculous to begin with. That and there being nothing to actually do.
i dont play on the server, but tbh there need to be some rules or something going up. I mean if u play on a pve server ofcourse there shouldnt be anyone fucking up ur house and taking ur loot.
WHY? if ur that dumb that u dont understand it urself i will explain it.
You aren`t aloud to kill anybody in a non - pvp server , so u should just watch when people come into ur house and take all ur stuff. I know most of you are 12 year old kids but comeon think with your brain little...
Indeed, makes no sense. You just have to stand by him when he loots your stuff, you can`t do nothing.

Since nobody can technically kill you, if you don't want your shit stolen carry it on your person. Obviously PvE servers are dumb right now because there's nothing to do besides farm, build and kill weak-ass zombies. If there wasn't the ability to steal other people's shit or break into their houses (be it by building a way in or blowing a way in), there would be EVEN LESS to do.
Pretty idiotic and nearsighted to have PvE-only at this point, but I guess it takes a load off the PvP-enabled servers and gets the cowards to a safe haven.
some people might actually enjoy just building a big ass fort without having anybody fucking with you ? i am all for pvp but just saying , only cause you dont like it doesnt mean others think thesame as you.

People are only fucking with you because you're on a PvE server and you can't do shit about it, lol. That's the whole point I'm trying to make. By taking away their ability to fuck with you, it limits their options. Now, you might like having less options, but I think that sucks.
how can i players report the in my house break before my Eyes?
I like the PVE server to alpha & test building, streaming etc Something to alternate with,
all though its getting more and more greifing as its up.
Would rather have a private server just to get away from the constant greifing that's going on.
I think the reason for there being a PvE server is to allow people to test the game with a lot of focus on gathering, building and farming. Not a lot of people get this kind of opportunity when they are constantly on the look out for other players on a PvP server.
Not being able to kill other players, allows everyone to have a better chance at surviving and testing out the end game. People forget that this participation in the alpha isn't about enjoying the game, but to help the developers find bugs and issues within it, so that they can fix it prior to the actual release.
Grief seems to be the point of the game. Short of being able to host your own server or play the game in single-player mode, I don't see much of a way around it that doesn't remove options and make it pointless to be playing multi-player to begin with. Perhaps it will all make sense to me once the game is completed, but right now, I find it completely baffling that a PvP-disabled multi-player server exists to begin with. I can understand hosted servers so that you can play with friends privy to the IP.
That way, you can ban griefers, test in a lag-free environment, do whatever you want to do unimpeded, etc.

Are you certain that you disagree with my post outright? You suggested exactly the same alternative to this problem as me. :\

I agree with this. I like the aspect of a PVE server, because at this point it's just people with high-powered gear camping newbies and making it a bad experience and nothing to do with actual Alpha Testing. I watch my friend play all the time, and when he was playing on the PVE server he could actually SHOW me things about the game like how to build, the drops from the plane and not just be on the look-out for people wanting to kill him.
Now as for PVE, I've always thought the mobs of the PVE servers should be balanced in a way to make it more tough, since the PVP is out. Mobs doing more damage, more wild animals and maybe even on the lines of the radiation adding in mutated creatures. I like the idea of something like Bloodsuckers >.> But that's just me being weird and loving them. XD
Oh, and I also like raiding, that adds something to the game where it's not just a farming, building aspect. You have to be smart, carry your valuables on your person as you run about, when you log out, and have a chance to lose it just in case you miscalculated hitting that zombie or bear. (I watched my friend die to a bear while carrying some blueprints he had just found. Funny.)
Having destroyable doors and stuff still brings the dangers on Rust, which I think is intentional.
Rust isn't supposed to be easy :3

It's a PvE server, you shouldn't be able to fuck with people.
Also I think I figured out why they're destructible- If you place your door wrong, you want to destroy it, no? Guess that's why they didn't make them indestructible, because otherwise you wouldn't be able to fix it after your horrible mistake.

This is why I think there should be a recipe for a tool that is used for both repairing and tearing down components of your house. When salvaging parts of your house in this way, you get back all or a portion of their crafting value.
The only problem that's left would be people being able to build their way into your house.

Make a decent house and then foundation proof it by breaking from the grid.
They can't do shit.
Only way I can see to minimize greifing (on PVE) is (ofc) a player cant damage others property (c4 etc)
and that somehow, we can claim land, with in its radius only that player can build,
and it wont overlap over others.

Unless they come up and "help you build" so to speak, lol. Your house isn't built instantaneously, and as you expand it, you run the risk of being screwed over by a passing player with building materials on him.

If you place foundations which are out of the grid and then place two pillars in the middle of each, they can't extend on the bottom of your base. This usually stops most griefing as long as your lower levels don't have anything they can extend on.

Yeah but if someone's raiding you right there what can you do? So there's almost no point in going to the PVE server unless you get killed every 5 seconds
If this was my game I would of removed PvE all together...
I feel PVE servers might be useful for new players who want to get a feel for the map, loot spots, crafting, ect.
I would be fair when there is a way to kill the people with axe ^^ in PVE for Security. NO GUNS but allow AXE.

Then it it will be PvP. That's missing the entire point.
Then the doors an Stuff must be not destroyable for other people/players. Only for the Builder or Owener of the Building itself. ^^

Then griefing would be disastrous. A player could place something on your house and you'd never be able to get rid of it.
