Just wanted to share a minor idea and all: A lot of times when caught up in clan battles or even being alone when raiders show up at your doorstep, there is simply no real way to escape from buildings quietly, as opening doors is a dead giveaway, and so is jumping from the roof and hoofing it. So after grabbing everything important as the raiders slowly/quickly make their way through, would it not be a good idea to have upgraded walls which could have a panel from them stealthily taken off so you can sneak through rooms and/or completely out of the house itself without anyone being the wiser? The panels would be accessible to all, but the trick to it is that the panel only opens from the direction you placed it from. So, for instance, the home-owner might be able to take a panel out from their outer wall to stealthily get outside, but would not be able to access it from the outside after the panel has been replaced, and would prevent raiders from just inspecting every wall and using the panels to bypass doors. Another good example for usefulness is if someone is skulking outside of your house and you want to take care of them before they realize anyone is home and to go on the offensive (or, hell, if you want to raid someone going by your house without them being alerted to your doors opening and taking off like a jackrabbit). Good idea? Bad?
I like it, it's a sort of vertical trapdoor if I understand correctly - a one-way passage. Altho it's somewhat unrealistic in being impossible to open from the other side (with a crowbar it should be easy). But then again, we're crafting precision mechanics with stone-age equipment, so why not? :)

Thanks for the feedback!
