Hi all,
Does anyone know of a solution to prevent people from building onto your entrance/doors with foundations, walls and a new door in an attempt to keep you out your own house? Hasn't happened to me as of yet (which I'm sort of surprised about).
build on a spot that doesnt allow the foundation to be placed in front of your foundation piece that houses your door in the first place. You can't place foundations uphill, so put your door on the side facing a hill and they cant put anything in front of it in the first plac.e

what about spike walls and barricades?

put an extra foundation in front of where you place your door with pillars all over it (exterior and the middle). Every base I build always has pillars surrounding it to prevent griefers as best I can.
Location is also important, be sure to build around rocks so that you can kinda limit the expansion people can make in terms of placing foundations or other objects around your base.

I tried barricades for now and was still able to build a foundation underneath. I suppose spikes would stop people coming near.
spikes can be destroyed and will decay, as someone else said the best method is to build foundations in every spot around your house and stick a pillar at least right in the middle. It looks ridiculous but it certainly helps. What we did was we made a metal house, then put wood foundations as close as it would let us all around our base and put pillars on them we actually did this for like two rows around our base there wer ea few spots where foundations couldn't be places so we made spike walls there, basically nobody can build very close to our base as far as we can tell meaning the only way in is through the bottom.
