this is my first fourm post sorry if it its that glamorous.
I just woke up and decided to hop on rust on a battlefield server and check my base i looked at my profile it said i was game ban i didn't even know what it was at first i did some research on this forum and found out that's how people get banned on rust. I was banned according to the [url]https://twitter.com/rusthackreport?lang=en[/url] 4h ago i have never used any hack/cheat to give my an explicit advantage in the game the only thing that even come close is me using notepad++ to open the key_default.cfg located in my D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Rust\cfg and edit it to bind commands for me i have no idea how this would get be banned however ill post it for good measure.

sidenote: on the Aod battle field server it was being ddosed yesterday so i saw in chat alot of people being kicked for anti hack that might have been why i have been banned but i have no way of knowing

You'll have to wait for EAC to come and look into your case, but i'll be up front with you and say that if you're here to waste EAC's time by telling lies in the hope of being unbanned, when they look into your case they only confirm the ban was placed for cheating or hacking in rust. They always unban for false positives and explain why it happened, though, but only a handful of true false positives have ever happened.

Your 2nd ban for the same cheat software, you obviously didn't learn the first time ...
