Just something stupid I threw together.
Calculates the resources needed for a VERY simple house/tower.

Enter the length, width, and number of floors. It will tell you exactly how many foundations, pillars walls, ceilings, and stairs will be required to make it.
EDIT: Updated, added total planks and total raw wood. This also takes into account planks and wood needed to make a doorway and a door.

Nice, could you add the amount of wooden planks/low quality metal needed in total? and add a doorway please.
Single doorway + door is implied (It is taken into account when calculating walls needed - the first floor has a wall "missing" which is where the doorway goes).
I'll have to take a look at the wiki. I'll probably add a wood calculator (planks + raw wood), possibly even a metal option (so you can either view how many resources would be required for a wood house, or for a metal house)

Thx a lot. I think it might be usefull especially for people who are planning big bases.
It would be great if you could implement the option to choose between wood doors and metal doors independently from the material used to build the house (like a wooden house with metal doors).
