There's a bug where if you drag a weapon mod to your weapon, your weapon disappears from your inventory but your mod stays. I'm not sure why it happens but if anyone else has encountered this, I'm wondering if it's worth risking more weapons until it works?
Going to attempt to attach one right now, will let you know.
Yep, destroyed it. Left the laser sight though.
