WarZ is despised so much because of pay2win, false advertising, banning accounts for stupid shit, releasing a buggy/unfinished piece of shit for full retail price.
Rust is none of the above. It's been released as an Alpha for free, it's not a blatant rip-off of DayZ
and there's no micro-transations.
