I always see this weird blue thing in the sky when its dark. Im pretty sure other people have had this but does anyone know why this happens?

It's probably that thing from lost, where the plane drives into it and crashes on the island on the other side.

It's most likely a bug. I saw the same thing some time ago and also saw a yellow version of that recently.

Looks like an aurora to me.
It's an extremely old glitch in the sky. I remember it being a huge thing back in July, but it died down quite quickly, and never was resolved. I'd presume it is an error in the skybox.
It's the rift into the dimension of hatchets and rocks.
