The Air-Drop world event is a great, fun way to obtain some hard to get items, but I feel, the only real risk is the other players.
Now, I know that might sound pretty stupid, but hear me out.
Recently, a website called Bananaconda interviewed Rust's very own Garry Newman.
(It is a very quick and interesting interview. Check it out here.)
The interview closes with one last comment from the Bananaconda interviewer, which is as follows;

If Garry was to add the boat feature, I feel as if a new world event should be added; In which a boat will appear out on the water,
(heavily damaged and slowly sinking) it is then up to the player to make their way out and collect the treasures aboard.
The threats to the player would now not just be other players, but the water itself, as it (currently) kills you if you are to come in contact with it, which would be fine,
as other players would simply target boats as they venture out - however other players, may wait at on the shore, to kill the players returning with the loot.
On the ship, there could be zombies aboard, suggesting the virus has infected the crew, thus explaining the ship crashing and becoming damaged.
The Air-Drop currently has a very loud roar, which comes from the engines of the plane.
For the Shipment world event, perhaps there could be multiple flares shot in to the air, with a very loud bang sound, coming from the direction of the flares.
Any how, this is just an idea and my first thread on this forum, so excuse the poor formatting.
Share your ideas, thoughts and whatnot.
