[PROBLEM] DEVS/MODS - please focus on and sticky a post about NEW INSTA DEATH HACK, causing instadea - Rust

this hack started last night, anywhere the hackers run around they now cause instadeath. doesnt matter where you are youre dead if theyre in the general area. game is completely unplayable. dying every few minutes with hackers running around causing instadeath [highlight](User was banned for this post ("use the hackers discussion thread, also several threads that missed the servers subforum" - postal))[/highlight]

I started with DayZ, but I found that to be sort of boring, because everything is way too easy to get, guns are just randomly placed everywhere, its not really much of a challenge for survival, other than avoiding other people. Rust was much more interesting to me, with the crafting aspect, but after spending 3 days building up a nice little fort only to have 2 guys bust it all down in 2 minutes and take everything, I realized that Rust is really only a game that benefits people who want to loot and raid, it is way, way too geared towards that type of play right now, and that isn't what I was looking for in a game. I wanted a survival game, not a kill, loot, and plunder game. Hopefully they balance defense better in revisions, and I will try it again. I don't think anyone's shelter should be impenetrable, but it really takes a long, long time to get things going, especially if you don't rob and loot other people, and someone takes it all away within a few minutes with pretty much zero effort.

There probably won't be a fix until they get back from steam dev days.

Seems like you didn't understand the meaning of ''Early Access''. Sure there are some issues, but not as big as you say.

I'm pretty sure someone confirmed this was part of one of the mods. Not Rust++, not Oxide, what's the other one? It has a mass suicide function. How do you know it's not the admins using that?

Stop harassing me, you are 100% troll not able to read the English language. 1) It is a fact that several games has been shut down by steam to due to this, but I know you lack the intelligence to check google for the facts. 2) After you have been to school, you might realise no-one ordered anyone. They are working on trying to get rid of hackers, but they can only do so much. There will always be hacks for this game and any other game it is what happens in online games.
