Admin access to the public servers and alerting?

Hey guys,

I was wondering - since we've seen day-long outages of the washington server (and others) is it possible we could get some sort of automated alerting going along with granting admin to some folks so they can restart the server?

Good luck getting garry to give anyone not on the dev team access to the servers.
